Who is ipsum?
My name is Lisa and for the purpose of this bio, I will try to be brief, yet comprehensive:
Let me start by saying that I have had a rather eclectic career to date, both blessed and cursed by a sensitive soul, an inquisitive eye and a straightforward mind.
I've been a cabin crew member for an orange airline, a red NGO's communications project manager and fundraising officer, an office clerk, an event manager for the rich and powerful, an art student, a poor artist, a private banking assistant, and a (bad) waitress.
However long and complicated, the road brought me to what I do today: using my experience, creativity and love of words to make an honest living.
Incidentally, my 'atypical' career has given me a deeper understanding of cultural nuances, such as lingo and social dynamics, which, in my line of work, comes in pretty handy.
Suffice to say that I bring a rather unique perspective to the table.
My peculiarity is my superpower!
What is ipsum?
With Ipsum, I lend my words to projects and people that might need a little help with their communication.
I mainly work with small businesses, creative and non-creative freelancers,NGO's communication agencies, artists, and students.
I love crafting engaging copy, handling meticulous translations (including the occasional German challenge!), and genuinely enjoy proofreading and providing writing assistance.
My approach is shaped by my unique career experiences and anchored in precision from my training in contemporary art.
Beyond creating content, I aim to connect ideas and, ultimately, people.
Whether refining a small business's message or helping a student with a thesis, I aim for precision with a touch of wit—or just a bit of humanity.
While AI can simplify many tasks, I'm here to keep it real and deliver that inimitable human je-ne-sais-quoi.
Why is ipsum?
Because I believe that words truly matter.
So let's choose wisely and make the best of them.
